Join us in the cafe with Curtis Institute of Music graduates, cellist Zach Mowitz and composer Nick DiBerardino. Their latest project explores the compelling musical and cultural history of the cello and their belief that historical context can illuminate the inner workings of a composition and enhance the viewer's experience.

Zach will perform cello pieces from different periods of history and discuss how they represent the cello's role in the history of music. He will also perform a piece by his father Ira Mowitz, and a piece by Nick DiBerardino who will be on hand to discuss his work and answer questions.
