The Story

This Costa Rican coffee stands out with its bright, floral acidity and natural sweetness. It offers a refreshing, vibrant coffee with a unique profile. This lot is graded as SHB, or Strictly Hard Bean, meaning that these trees were grown at an altitude above 1,350 m. The cooler climate of this altitude causes the cherries to mature more slowly, allowing for more nutrient absorption and resulting in a dense, hard bean with higher quality flavor.
