For a flavorful cup of tea, ideal brewing temperatures are:
Green Teas: 180 degrees
Semi-Fermented teas: 195 degrees (just off boil)
Black Teas: 212 degrees (just off boil)

Tea clouds when the PH (chemical) balance is upset. Some teas have high acid content which will change the PH when chilled. Lemons and limes can help balance the PH in tea (and in some cases improve taste.)
